1) Kåseberga - Löderups Strandbad - Sandhammaren

Things to do at Österlen!

	2) Peppinge-Sandhammaren-Skillinge-Brantevik-Simrishamn-Kivik-Brösarp A distance of 61.3 km by car, the blue marker on the map. A long stretch of several beautiful beaches such as Sandhammaren, Tobisvik (Simrishamn) and at Stenshuvud Nationalpark. Here are also lots of archaeological finds and monuments such as petroglyphs at Simrislund and Järrestad and the royal tomb in Kivik. Beautiful nature, such as Stenshuvud National Park with Visitor Centre, here you also find a lovely sand beach. On the stretch is of course a number of nice restaurants, farm shops and cafes. pictures from the area - click here		1) Kåseberga-Sandhammaren Sun and bath : Fine sand beaches all the way from Löderups Strandbad to Sandhammaren. Eating and drinking: The Kåseberga smokery and Vendel restaurant. Vendel is also a café and bakery. In Löderups beach you find a few restaurants and at Sandhamamren there is a cafe and grill bar. Attractions: Ale Stones (compare with Stone Hedge) which is located at Kåseberga port. Day Hammarskiöld´s summer house called Backåkra which is now a small museum. Beautifully situated. Hagestad nature reserve: Mostly oak and pine forests, pastures and Tygeån as rivers. A forest planted as protection against sand drift. Rich in flowers and has a rich breeding bird fauna. 2) Peppinge-Brösarp Eating and drinking: The Skillinge and Brantevik's port restaurants. In Kivik Bure's Fish Restaurant. Daniel Berlin's renowned restaurant in Skåne Tranås and close to Kivik you find Friden´s Farm Tavern (famous for it´s great pizza). Bella's Bistro in Simrishamn is also recommended. Attractions: Fishing villages Skillinge Brantevik and Gislöv Hammar. Rock carvings in Simrislund (sign) and ancient monuments as Havängsdösen from Neolithic and Kivik tomb from the Bronze Age. Other: Apotekarn's garden (Mediterranean garden) inside the Simrishamn. House of Apples in Kivik with garden and restaurant. Asparagus Farm near Skillinge.
